Quarantine Comfort: Diy Dole Whip!

Is it wrong to be turned on by the thought of making an authentic Disneyland Dole Whip at home??? Asking for a friend.

Kidding! But if you've ever visited the Magical Kingdom, you likely understand the nostalgia of hauling tail to the magical Dole Whip shack (before waiting in line for the Tiki-Tiki-Tiki-Tiki Tiki Room)!
To provide comfort during quarantine, Disneyland released their Dole Whip recipe unto the internet, and we are loving this new addition to our coping tools during the quarantine.

There seem to be two variations online from both Disneyland *and* Dole, so we are posting both of them for your taste-testing pleasure!

Vegan, dairy-free Dole Whip recipe (from the Dole website):

  • 1 cup pineapple juice, frozen in an ice cube tray
  • 1 banana, peeled and frozen
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons powdered sugar
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk beverage

Add the pineapple juice, banana, and powdered sugar into a blender. Cover and blend until smooth, gradually adding coconut milk and scraping down sides if necessary. Serve immediately!

Disneyland Dole Whip recipe:

  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple

Blend until smooth & enjoy!

For extra funsies:
Pair your DIY Dole Whip with rum (!) -- an authentic Disneyland churro -- OR, while listening to the classic sounds of the Tiki Room!

Take good care of yourself...and whip it good)
